New Bike Day!

Whoa. It’s been a while since my last post, huh? Well as some of you know, I’ve picked up cycling again over the past year and that’s been my main hobby for the duration.

After deciding that I’m pretty much all in, I decided to treat myself to a fun build as an early birthday present and to reward myself for losing 50 pounds. There really isn’t much to say about it and I believe the photos will speak for themselves. This bike is BEAUTIFUL.

So this build took place over a span of three months and it’s currently borrowing some parts from my old bike until I save up more money for what I want to add. Originally, I pre-ordered an Ultegra complete bicycle from a well-known vendor, but it kept getting delayed until I decided to look elsewhere. After calling around locally, I sourced a frame and decided to build it up with my Shimano 105 groupset and ordered a hodgepodge of parts to throw on at my whim. I ended up paying a little more in the end, but at least my money went to an LBS for once.
